Hello and welcome to my America Trip of 2017.

SJO (San Jose, Costa Rica) -> EWR (Newark, NJ, USA) UA Y B738
EWR (Newark, NJ, USA) -> TLV (Tel Aviv, Israel) UA Y B77W
As my plane from Tel Aviv landed with 1 hour of delay, I had to rush to my gate and passed the security check quickly, so I hadn't time to visit the CIP lounge.
Durning the security check there was a guy that opened a fast lane for passengers to Bangkok and Guangzhou. Those flights were estimated to depart before 1 AM and they serve many Israelis on them,

On my way to gate 307 which is a bus gate:
On the gate for TK800 flight, This flight serves two main destinations: Bogota (Columbia) and Panama City (Panama).
PTY-IST is the longer TK's route, and it is taking about 17 hours and 15 minutes to arrive from Istanbul to Panama City (You are requesting to stay on the plane during the stop in Bogota).
This is my final destination!
On the bus!
After 10 minutes of driving I arrived at my plane: A330-200, TC-JNE named "Kayseri". This plane is flying mostly on this flight because it has a newer cabin,
This is the best part in any airplane:

Cabin smells new:
A huge screen for the next 17 hours!
Also there is plenty of legroom (34"):

Finally in South America!
Beautiful report and the first ever on the web !
Were there in between snacks known as "Anytime Snacks" ?
Thanks for a great read and great photos :)
Thank you so much!
There was an open galley with cheese sandwiches, also sandwiches for children and kosher sandwiches.
There were cherry cakes and many beverages. I ate 2 sandwiches at the mid time of the flight.
Thanks for this FR ;)
The flight was 14h (like written in the flight time) or 17h (like announced in the FR) long ?
IST-BOG is 14 hours
Stopover in BOG is for 1 hour and 30 minutes
BOG-PTY is 1 hour and 45 minutes
:)
I made the same flight a few days ago. I flew the TC-JNC which have the old cabin and isn't so clean as it plane looks. So, you're lucky. Let's see the flight back! Do they serve anything on the BOG-PTY flight?
Regards
TC-JNC flies mostly on IST-HAV-CCS-IST route, maybe because it has a lack of demand, My flight was full. The screen was awesome, comparing to the old cabin that I flew on 2014 from TLV-IST (TC-JND).
I won't fly back from Panama. on PTY-BOG sector there was a choice between berry muffin or a sandwich with eggplant. both of them weren't good.
See you on my next reports :)
Turkish Airlines has renewed the cabin (as reported by you :) ) of 4/5 of its A330-203s delivered to them in 2006 - TC-JNA, TC-JNB, TC-JND and TC-JNE feature the new cabin product. Whereas TC-JNC, painted in the retro livery, fittingly features the old, old cabin. However I imagine it’ll be renewed soon, because the A330-203s are increasingly being used on low demand routes (ATL, CPT) - probably a good move on TK’s behalf.
Thanks for sharing! this is for me the most exotic flight to/from Colombia, I always wondered how it's like!
This is a route I never heard of until now. Thanks for your review.
