Welcome to the review of the ANA A320 economy product. The flight will be operated by the last A320 produced for ANA and it is 8.9 years old at the time of writing.
My tripreports in Japan:
ANA B787-8 Economy international- Shanghai Pudong International airport to Tokyo Haneda International Airport
ANA B787-8 Economy Domestic - Tokyo Haneda International Airport to Osaka Itami Airport
ANA A320 Economy Domestic - Hiroshima Airport to Tokyo Haneda International Airport
ANA B787-8 Economy International - Tokyo Haneda International Airport to Shanghai Pudong International Airport
I arrived at the airport on this cloudy morning, 3 Hrs before scheduled departure. I used the Hiroshima station to Hiroshima Airport Bus, thus giving points to the airport for access.
I could even see that some Japanese airports have the best signs and directions in the world.
Once I entered the airport, I made my way to the common check-in counters for all ANA passengers. As there were only 3 other ANA flights departing that morning, the check-in was completed in within minutes.
After that very fast check-in, we went to the security check, the security check was also very fast and quick. Our flight was timed at a very odd timing, the flight was an 1 after the rush hour was hour, thus making it the first flight after the first rush hour and it was 2 hours earlier than the 2nd rush hour of the day. The terminal was empty and I got this beautiful shot of the airport.
I had some time to do some plane spotting. Hiroshima Airport is not the greatest airport for plane spotting.
Japan Airlines B767 to Tokyo Narita
Japan Airlines B737 to Okinawa
and ANA A320 from Naha
This will be our ride of the day.
ANA A320-200 to Tokyo Haneda 24.8 Years old (at the time of writing this tripreport)

The only 2 lounges in the domestic terminal are the Japan Airlines Lounge and the ANA lounge. As I was a Gold member of the star Alliance card, I was granted permission to the ANA lounge ( ANA is a member of star Alliance)but there was a strict rule to not film in the lounge so, Instead of taking the chance, I didn't take any pictures of the interior.
The terminal had 2 shops both of them convinience stores. The biggest one was the ANA owned ANA Festa, the shop had a few last minute souveneirs.
Boarding began on time and the elite card holders were allowed first. Then they allowed the pregnant women, children and the disabled passengers. Finally all the other passengers. The older A320's do not have business class.
We were also asked to take headphones while boarding.
Some final pictures of our aircraft before boarding
They had a basket with some sweets on them while i was greeted by the lovely Japanese FA's.
My seat for the flight. Unfortunately does not include a screen.
The In-Flight literature.
An Air sickness bag.
A safety card.
ANA sky shop magazine
ANA service information
ANA magazine
Pushback and take-off was on time.
Here is an Ibex Airlines ATR on its rare route to Osaka Kansai
moments after departure they served us some drinks. The choices of drinks were very limited and the only choices were fruit juices.
The only form of entertainment in this flight( other than Literature) is the music system.
The flight was late night so for that reason i slept through the entire flight. There was nothing interesting to report anyway.
We arrived on-time at Tokyo Haneda.
A last picture of the economy product of the A320. ANA will unfortunately retire their old A320 and they will replace them with the brand new A320Neos.
De-boarding was carried out by a bus and i had to rush to catch my next-flight to Shanghai Pudong. ANA was so kind to even offer us a private FA to escort us to the plane.
Thank you everyone for watching this trip-report and if you have any questions about the flight, make sure you leave a comment below.
