Welcome every one to this trip report in a B777-300ER Economy Class by Thai Airways. This review will determine if Thai Airways deserves the spot as the best economy class in the world.
I just arrived from Chennai International airport and I reviewed their B777-200 product.
This is the way to the transfer desks. The transfer desks were very fast and took almost no time(at least at the terminal I was in). In rush hour times such as A380 arrivals or when the whole lot of planes arrive from south Asia or east Asia, is when the rush hour starts. My flight arrived in the morning so I had to burn some time at Bangkok Airport.

I did a bit of plane spotting and these are the pictures:
Japan Airlines B787-8 to Tokyo Narita
Korean Air B747-I8 to Seoul Incheon
Etihad Airlines B777-300 to Abu Dhabi
Finnair A350-WXB to Helsinki
Emirates A380-800 to Dubai
Qatar Airways ? to Doha
Myanmar Airlines A320 to Yangon
MAI Airlines A320 to Yangon

I slept through the whole transit time and I ate a burger in Burger king. I then went and sat next to my gate.
I would like to appreciate the charging points available in the airport. The airport also has good Wi-Fi and has a good amount of natural sunlight.

Soon later the boarding started at Gate G1A and the boarding took some time. The boarding was by bus
The was situated at a remote stand so there was a chance to do some more plane spotting
Kuwait Airways ? to Kuwait City
KLM B787-8 to Amsterdam
Swiss Air ? to Geneva
ANA B787-8 to Tokyo
Air Asia A320 to Kuala Lumpur

I also spotted a Thai Airways A380 under maintenance

We Then entered our aircraft a Thai Airways B777-300ER

I walked to my seat and taxiing started few minutes late because there were some transit passengers missing.
There was a decent quality headphone, a blanket and a pillow on every economy seat.

The seat included a in-flight entertainment system, a USB port, a detachable remote and a coat hanger. The tray table can be used half open and full open. The seat pitch was incredibly good and it also included a leg rest.

They served pre-departure snacks that included a bag of nuts and drinks of your preference. They include apple, orange and other fruit juices. They also serve champagne in business class.

The boarding passes of Thai Airways is really beautiful and they are well presented unlike other airlines such as China Eastern or SriLankan Airlines. The lavaratory was clean and fresh. Unfortunately, I got to carried away by the Sound of music so I could not get a lot of pictures. This was the meal provided to the vegetarian passengers, as I chose the vegetarian option, I could not take the time to look at the other options,

This was a very short flight and we deboarded the plane via a bus.

We went to the immigration and the only other international flight was the Ethiopian Airlines B777 from Addis Ababa, which made the immigration a quick and easy process. The bags however arrived really late so that lost my time. We picked up our bags and we left PVG.
