Hi & Welcome to this report on my FLASHBACK SERIES. In this series of flights, I would share reports from flights that I've flown before registering this website. Just a quick reminder that I am the same human being with "turkishflyer1" on flyertalk so the reports posted can be the same as posted there.
This report would include my return flight from a short trip from Izmir in summer 2015 with SunExpress. SunExpress no longer operates this route and they have decided to give their slot on this route to AnadoluJet. A quick note that this report has limited photo content compared to other reports, thanks for your understanding.
Regular up to date reports would be continued to be shared shortly after the flight date.
List subject to change due to photo availability, dates are estimated and changes can occur. As these flights are reported you would be able to click on the sector to see the FR. Not reported flights would be written in italic.
As this is a flashback report no route&trip overview wouldn't be provided as some exceptions can occur.
ONLINE CHECK-IN
As XQ is a low cost carrier, passengers are asked to pay for selecting their own seats or they are auto-assigned by the system. Also, passengers in the same reservation code are assigned seats in the same row next to each other. Today 14A & 14B was assigned for us.

Check-in
The same day as our flight, another person joined our party for this flight so three of us requested to sit together at a block. We were assigned 15A-B-C which is just the row in front of the exit row and the row which seats doesn't recline. A quick note that the ground staff at the check-in desk informed us about the limited recline before changing our seats.
After the security checkpoint which didn't take much time, we headed to to Comfort Lounge which is the only lounge in the terminal that accepts passengers pay to enter.
COMFORT LOUNGE DOMESTIC - ADB
The present name of this lounge is Primeclass Lounge.
As one of my companions had a Vodafone Red tariff at that time, we were able to access the lounge for free. Vodafone Turkey offered 10 single lounge passes for their elite customers which is only valid in Turkish airports. Nowdays, Vodafone Red customers in Turkey has the same option but they should pay 10 TRY per person in order to enter the lounge. The third passenger in our party accessed the lounge with his Priority Pass card.
The buffet did contain some food which I don't remember at this point.

GATE AREA & BOARDING
Boarding had already started while we arrived to the gate. SunExpress mostly operates international flights from ADB so their aircraft is mostly parked near the international terminal. That's why we were transferred to the aircraft by buses.
Some shots before boarding the aircraft. I was going to fly the same aircraft with my SAW-ADB flight.
XQ 9264 IZMIR ADNAN MENDERES AIRPORT to ISTANBUL SABIHA GÖKÇEN AIRPORT
We were welcomed by the crew while boarding.
When I sat to my seat, another XQ aircraft was visible from the window.
After that XQ aircraft had pushed back, this Freebird A320 was visible. Also an LX A320 was visible behind the FH A320. A quick note that LX ended their Turkey operations at 2016.
We had took of on time, some pictures after takeoff
Safety card
As XQ is a low cost carrier, no meal is offered for free and passengers could buy food & beverages from the BoB menu. The BoB menu could be found at my XQ 9065 report. Some shots before landing
We had arrived to a remote stand and transferred to the terminal by bus.
ISTANBUL SABIHA GÖKÇEN AIRPORT - SAW
Our bags were delivered at carousel 5 shortly after arrival.
