My flight started at Lobby E at Terminal 1, Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi
I would fly on flight number BL273 to Can Tho, the biggest city in Mekong Delta region in Vietnam. One thing about this trip was that I flown on this flight one day after Jetstar opened this route, so was feeling quite special to be one of their 1st passengers on the new route.
Since I already made online check-in at home so I headed directly to the security check.
When I was sitting and waiting for the flight, I received the announcement that my flight was delayed 40 minutes,
The gate for this flight was gate 17, which is the bus gate. That means we would board on the plane by the bus
And then my flight got another delay, which was about 30 minutes. As I saw on Flightradar24, the delay was due to late arrival from the last flight. I was not happy at all back then :(
At 7:45 pm, boarding was called. but we had to stand and stay at the gate for 10 minutes to wait for the bus in order to get to the aircraft.
The aircraft for the flight was VN-A560, which is a 10.6 years old Airbus A320.
My seat for this flight was 16A.
Legroom was just fine for a budget airline like Jetstar Pacific.
Shortly after take-off, buy-on-board services were started.
Because I was full during the flight, so I decided to buy soursop juice, which costed 20.000 đ (about almost a dollar).
It sounds strange, but actually the juice tasted really nice and refreshing. Unfortunately, this can of juice only be sold on domestic flights with in Vietnam. But if you had a chance to fly with them on domestic routes, you should give it a try.
After buy-on-board services ended, cabin light was dimmed for passengers to sleep or rest.
Since the flight was at night so I didn't take many photos during the flight, especially outside of the window.
An hour and 45 minutes later, the aircraft was descended and ready to landed at Can Tho International Airport. Also the lights outside the window started to appear.
