Hello and welcome to my 3rd and last flight. This will be the last flight, from Frankfurt to Barcelona, flight operated by lufthansa.

connecting in frankfurt airport
As I said on the previous FR, Frankfurt airport is nowadays old-stylish if you compared with other airports such as Munich.
After the security and passport check, I went to walk a little bit through the terminal 1 of the airport. Here we have a nice 748 of the main German Airline.

Our plane which will bring us home this afternoon.

frankfurt-barcelona
Well, my seat for this flight was 26A, next to the emergency exit. Before boarding started I was requested to go to the desk where they told me if I was on the conditions to open the emergency door if it was necessary. I wasn't happy with the seat, but the flight was full and I had no choice to change it.
Legroom was great, but no views. Luckly, I talked with a member of the cabin crew who was very friendly and she managed to change my seat into the other side. Another passenger will seat here, and he looked so happy because of the legroom.

So this was my new view. Much better now.

takeoff and inflight
Again, cabin crew welcomed us on board and made us the safety demonstration. No pushback was made, engines were started and we started our taxi to the runway

We took off southwards at 16:25. Not much traffic at that time
Bye Frankfurt! See you soon!?

We were stablished at FL300 before continuing to FL350. 15 minutes after takeoff service started. We were given the typical Lufthansa Sandwich, which was a chicken or cheese one. I took the cheese one along with a coke and a coffee. I really like the design of the coffee/tea glass.

By the time we were flying over Switzerland

This is Yverdon-les-Bains

And this is Geneve, I think.

And flight goes down through the swiss Alps and appears in the Mediterranean sea, just over the west of Marseille. I requested another Sandwich which was gaven to me.

descent and landing
Over the Lion gulf descent started. The Pyrinees were seen from the window. Hours before I had the Andes mountains, these ones are not so beautiful.
There we have "El Cap de Creus" the western point in Catalonia and a very nice place to hike.
I remember my last Frankfurt-Barcelona flight because of some really severe turbulence we had (I guess they were Clear Air Turbulence), on 2012. It was really scary. But this area of Catalonia is famous because of the heavy winds. Bad luck that day, today the weather was much better.

Descent goes over the sea so we had some nice views from "El Golf de Roses" and the small catalan villages on the coastline.

Baix Empordà and Maresme areas were clearly seen today.

We are now closer to Barcelona

There's the city. Flaps down and geard down.

The Harbour means that we are next to the airport

And touchdown at 17:55, just before STA. Cabin crew welcomed us to Barcelona and we taxied to the gate on terminal 1.

And we were parked next to the LH from Munich and the JOON (Air France flight) from Paris.

And after disembarking a picture from the TK A333 which I've been using on my previous trips to Colombia. And the Air Europa preparing for it's flights to The Balearic Islands.

And after that I went to the Baggage Claim where I was waiting for nearly an hour my bag. It was one of the last to appear, but when I was starting to think it was lost… it appeared.
And when I was about to get off the "airside" the Spanish Police stopped me for a few minutes asking me where did I came from.
-From Bogota -I said
-Come with me for a moment, please.
Everyone can Imagine why. But it didn't took long. The Police Officer wasn't friendly (not strange here) but quickly he let me go and I found my mum at the other side of the gate, who came to pick me up at the airport after more than 2 months out of my house.
Thank you very much for reading!
