Silkair
MI 615
Siem Reap (REP) - Singapore (SIN)
A319
9V-SBD
Economy Class
After 4 nights in Siem Reap and being temple overloaded, we had to bade farewell to the Angkor land. The return trip was generally nothing exciting as service was more routine and less personal. Crew were also not as friendly and seemed more robotic (think SQ crew). Plus the flight was full in economy! So let the pictures and videos do the talking.
Siem Reap airport check-in area
So are we flying SQ or MI today?
Our A319 arrived and waiting at the bay. The airport gives a resort-like feel with coconut trees around the tarmac.

Boarding. We have to walk to the plane this time round. I don't mind though, in fact was more than happy!
Boarding was done through both front and rear doors. Very efficient.
Passengers sitting near the rear of the aircraft were directed to the rear door for boarding.
Almost in.
Business class seats. Business class was not full.
while economy was 100% full!! Wonder if anyone is upgraded to business…
Good seat pitch again.
Transasia Airways A321 taxiing for takeoff
Bangkok Airways A320 arrived beside us.
Backtracking down the runway for takeoff
Takeoff
Overflying Angkor Wat
Climbing to 37000ft. Flight time of 2hrs 10min.
Meal service in progress.
Had the chicken with butter rice. It was very good! The other choice was fish with fried rice. The meals are catered from Singapore both ways. Silkair may not serve fanciful dishes but the simplest dishes actually taste good!

Thanks for this return leg! Nice aerial shot of Angkor. Shame the pictures are small though.
Thanks for this good FR !
I did not expect a Taiwanese aircraft (Transasia Airways) in Siem Reap ! Great view of Angkor Wat, despite the need for heavy image enhancing. Thanks for this FR !
Thanks for sharing this FR
