Arriving at chongqing jiangbei int'l airport
My family arrived at Chongqing Jiangbei Int'l Airport at around 19:00 GMT+8, and after my family arrived at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, we proceeded to Chongqing Airlines's check-in counter which is the 3B counter to check in and get our boarding passes.
After we received our boarding passes, we proceeded to security & customs.
After we passed security, we proceeded to OQ2395's Gate, which was Gate H4.
After we arrived at the gate, we saw our aircraft, a A320-251N which was delivered to Chongqing Airlines on Sep 20 2018 preparing for this trip to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Boarding & departure
After we arrived at Gate H04, I went to do some plane spotting with my little brother, and then we returned to the gate area and waited theird until boarding commenced at around 21:15 PM GMT+8.
After few mins, we settled into our seats around 21:22 GMT+8, as I looked immediately out of the window and saw at the beautiful A320NEO winglets.
After few mins, the CA armed the cabin doors, and then we began to pushback at around 21:31 GMT+8, and as the A320NEO pushed backed, I head the beautful CFMI LEAP-1A starting up, which sounded amazing.
After we pushed completedly onto the taxiway, we began to taxi to Rwy 03 at 21:35 GMT+8, and on the way taxing to the runway, I spotted another beautiful Hainan Airlines B787-9 Dreamliner registered B-207J preparing for HU415 to New York.
After few mins of taxing, we arrived at runway 03 at around 21:38 GMT+8, and as we arrived at runway 03, we immediately began to line up and takeoff.
Takeoff was very smooth, and 1 min after we started rolling down the runway, our A320NEO began to lift up smoothly into the dark clouds over my home city, Chongqing.
Cruise
After 40 mins of smooth sailing, we reached our cruise/FL300. And after few mins, our CC began to serve everyone tasty food and drinks.
At around 22:00 GMT+7, we entered Vietnam Airspace, and after we entered Vietnam Airspace, I felt asleep and then woke up until we reached above Da Lat and began to descend towards Ho Chi Minh City from FL300.

We began to descend towards Ho Chi Minh City at around 23:20 GMT+7, and then we smoothly descented towards Ho Chi Minh City.

Our aircraft turned and alligned up with SGN/VVTS's runway 25R at around 23:41 GMT+7 on December 30th.
Landing & disembarking
We landed safely at Ho Chi Minh City at 23:45 GMT+7, which was 55 mins ahead of schedule, and amazingly, our Capt or FO managed to do a butter landing on Rwy 25R!
After we landed, our A320NEO vacated Rwy 25R via Twy W4, and then taxied to remote stand 40.
After we arrived at remote stand 40, we waited for the bus to come, then we disembarked at 00:02 AM on December 31, and after we arrived at the Terminal, we went to customs and then went to the baggage belt to pick up our baggages and returned to our home in Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Provience, Vietnam.
Hi there, thanks for sharing your first report here with us. Review of Chongqing Airlines are rare so it’s cool to see one. Didn’t see many pics of the cabin though, did you notice if there were any power outlets or USB ports?

Hello B!!! (I'm sorry I'm shortening your name but my memory fails!) Welcome aboard!
What a nice experience it is to fly with Chongqing Airlines! I mean, food is everything to me, and that meal looks out of this world! People at the gate looked so happy without their masks. If they had known what was coming...!!! Too bad this flight took place during nightime. We don't know anything about Chongqin where I live. Will you post a report for a return flight? I hope so! I'd love to see the landscape!! Thanks for sharing! Keep the good work! :)
