My family arrived at HCMC's Tan Son Nhat Airport at 09:30 on Jul 26 to check in for our original flight/VN1817, and after we received our boarding passes, we went to the Lotus lounge, but we then sadly missed the flight, because we didn't hear the boarding announcement, and after we missed VN1817, my dad went straightly to Vietnam Airline's counter to rebook us on VN7805, and luckily, we didn't have baggage checked on to VN1817, so we didn't have to worry about our baggage, and after we re checked-in, we went to Vietnam Airline's Lotus Lounge, and then I spotted this A350-941 preparing for a flight to Hanoi.
Boarding commenced at 15:40 GMT+7, and after boarding commenced, my family boarded the A321 registered VN-A356, and after I settled into my seat, I saw this A321 registered VN-A354 parked next to us as the cabin crew came and handled us a cup of orange juice to all the business class passengers.
The gate disconeected with the aircraft as the cabin crews began to arm the door at 16:43, and then at 16:48 VN7805 began to pushback as the engines started and the safety video played.
As soon as we pushed onto the taxiway, we began to takeoff, and after we took off, we had no services since this a very short flight, and as we began to descend towards Phu Quoc, the rain begins to get bigger and bigger, and below is a picture of Vietnam Airline's fleet.
As the rain started to get bigger and bigger, the wind and fog also began to grow, and when we were on final approach towards the runway, the wind, rain, fog were all big, but still, our brave captain decides to land, but we couldn't, so we went and do a go-around, and during our climb, we met a big turbulence which brought the aircraft down and up, which made almost all passengers afraid and yell except for me and my dad, and after the go-around, we landed safely on our second attempt to land at Phu Quoc Island even the weather condition hasn't changed at all.
Overall, Vietnam Airlines's business class is great, and I'd love to try Vietnam Airlines's business class once again after the global pandemic has passed away.
