Hello again, and welcome to a new FR. That one is a short flight from Granada to Barcelona, that i took to see my family during christmas. This flight was operated the day before mobility restrictions were suspended in Spain, so that day you were required to present some kind of certificate to fly. In my case, as my residence is in Barcelona, I had no problem.
So let's go. As Granada is a very small airport I arrived by bus just an hour before STD. Check in was very fast, so I proceeded to the "airside". I realized the souvenir shop was opened again (it was closed for many months, so maybe it opened because of christmas?).

Boarding started soon. Plane arrived from Barcelona just a few minutes ago. Vueling is also famous because of the "fast stop" in the airports. We'll be flying the sharkled A320 this morning.

Once boarding was completed, captain welcomed us on board, expecting an hour and fifteen minutes flight. It was a foggy morning.

On time we taxied to the runway and prepared for take off. Bye bye Granada!

Soon we were above the clouds. Heading to Barcelona, while the Sierra Nevada appeared on the back.

Very far away you can watch Alboran Sea, and also Morocco appeared at the very far away.
The rest of the flight was very uneventful. Vueling restarted it's service on summer, but the menu was by then on the seat in front of you. Prices were so high. I bought a instant coffee for 3.50€.

A few minutes later we were already flying over Valencia, where you get into the sea before starting the descent into Barcelona. I slept for a few minutes and I woke up just before landing. During many months runway 02 was used for landings. That was because of the traffic affluence and they were improving the 25L/R and 7L/R thinking in better times.

A short taxi to the Terminal 1 and said goodbye to the plane. Despite being christmas situation was quite depressing.

And the "heavy" area was also empty.

I picked the baggage and headed to the bus station, heading now to my house for a very unusual christmas celebrations.
Thank you very much for reading, stay well.
