Here is a FLight Report on a flight I did in 2008. I noticed that Royal Jordanian wasn't reported yet and I decided to dig those pictures out and make way for RJ in the database !

After a couple of days spent in Chiang Mai and Bangkok with my mother who was enroute to Tahiti via Osaka, it was time for me to take my first flight to Hong Kong on Royal Jordanian. I went to the airport early, I was the first to check-in. Not many people at the counters as the plane was inbound from Amman and most the of passengers were coming for Jordan.

Check-in was swiftly done by Thai Airways ground staff and were assisted by a Royal Jordanian employee. My bags were tagged to Hong Kong where I would spend the night before continuing on to Taipei and Los Angeles.

The lounge used by RJ is the Thai Airways one. Pictures of the lounge.

On board the aircraft, the Business Class cabin is rather empty there are only 3 passengers and what looks like 2 sky marshals…

I then asked to change seats as mine had a problem and wasn't working properly. I am offered 1J.

Shortly before arrival we are presented with a gift. It's a soap in a soapdish in the shape of a vine leaf.

Arrival is quick, I have my bags in no time and I am in Hong Kong just for the night, tomorrow I am off to Taipei on EVA AIR.

My room at the Novotel Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok.

Conclusion

We left and arrived on time.

The seat is very comfortable.

The cabin attendant was very pleasant, when I asked her if I could take a picture of her as she was wearing the national dress, she bluntly refused saying that it was for security reasons etc... apart from the meal service, she was very present, she would spend the flight seated on her jumpseat and talk to the sky marshal seen at the beginning of the flight. She will only reappear at the end of the flight to give the gifts.

The meal was nice, dessert was not enjoyable.
