After a few nights in Dubai, it was time to head back to Glasgow via Amsterdam with KLM on the Boeing 777-300ER. This would be my last flight for a while due to some planned surgery.
Our flight was delayed around 40 minutes due to late arrival of the inbound aircraft. Departure time pushed back to 0230hrs. Was nice to see the SkyTeam Lounge in Dubai open again too, this had been closed for some time due to COVID.
PH-BVS, Darien National Park would be taking us back to Amsterdam this morning. Pretty full flight too!

I was able to select a seat in Economy Comfort, free of charge due to my Platinum status. I selected 12K. The middle and aisle seat appeared empty until boarding and then remaining seats quickly filled up.

Captain announced a flight time of just over 7 hours to Amsterdam and expected smooth flying conditions.
Views from 12K during pushback.

Views as we rotate out of Dubai. Nice smooth climb out.

Heading over Saudi Arabia, we were given a vegatable wrap and drinks service. I wasn't really hungry after eating in the lounge. BVS also has wifi installed now too.

Not much to see enroute and managed to grab a couple of hours sleep.

Around 1.5hrs prior to landing, the cabin lights were switched on and a hot breakfast was served. Again, no choice offered but tasted not too bad.

After an autoland in foggy Amsterdam, the friendly KLM pilots allowed me to take some pictures of the flightdeck…

Nice job done by KL. Thank you for the report.

Nice report as always!
Wow, that's loyalty! Understandably since KLM are one of the more pleasant and consistently customer-friendly airlines out there. Not to mention AMS is super easy for transiting.
Aside from the little late nice snack with seems underwhelming (but totally understandable for 3AM), everything looks great. The newer cabins look very nice, though the extra width of the old 3-3-3 config will be missed.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for this Review.
Nice and adequate meals given the flight timings.
Audio selection was drastically reduced indeed.
