Hello everyone and welcome to a new Flight Report. I want to share with you this short flight from Tumaco to Cali I made at the end of august 2021. As I needed an afternoon flight, Satena, which is reported on previous FR was kicked out, as they only have a morning flight to Cali. So the "final" was between Avianca and Easyfly. I choosed this last one, mainly because of the price, but secondly because that I needed to continue my trip to Armenia by bus, so my connection was better. So let's go.
I arrived at the airport after a short moto taxi trip and after saying goodbye to my friends (promising to see again soon) I checked my bag and crossed the security control, which is manual as the airport have no X-ray machines. Afterwards I proceeded to the bar, where I rested until we were called for boarding. Fortunately, on time.

We'll make the ride with this bird this afternoon.

I was seated on row 5. Legroom was pretty good despite the size of the airplane.

Doors were closed and crew welcomed us on board. Flight time this afternoon is no more than 55 minutes to Cali, with nice weather during our trip.
Taxiing to the Runway

Soon we were on the runway and mate a U turn. We'll be taking off to the south, so we will have some really nice views of Tumaco today. Lined up.

Bye bye Tumaco.

A few pics of the city where I've been working for three months. We made a left turn just before crossing Ecuador. Heading to the northeast today.

Soon enough, clouds appeared and views disappeared. Anyway the views kept being amazing. I turned night mode on my phone and the difference is quite big.

Overflying el Pacífico nariñense

Again, no service on board. As I told on previous reports, this is because of colombian legislation, which is not allowing to serve any kind of food or drinks on their domestic flights. Hopefully they'll resume their service again.

At least views were nice out there

After 40 minutes on the air we started our descent. By then, we were already over Cauca mountains.

On approach into Cali

On short finals

And landed after some good 50 minutes on the air. In Cali there were a few Avianca's 787/A330 grounded. Some of them are flying again, I think.

And after a short taxi, we parked. Disembarking was made again row by row.

After the flight I collected my bag and went straight to the bus which is connecting with the bus station in order to continue my trip to Armenia. Luckily I was able to take the last bus, which was another 3h 30mins ride. But that's another history….
Thank you very much for reading and see you soon!
Thanks for sharing these exotic trips around my country, it makes me a bit homesick!
I reckon now that AV has returned its ATRs, TCO is down to Satena and EasyFly...in the end I think its pretty much the same thing.
No hay mucha diferencia entre Easyfly y Satena. Los segundos vuelan a destinos más "apartados" pero la calidad del servicio viene siendo más o menos la misma. Saludos!
