Here is my second part of my return trip from Japan, to Lyon. This is the second flight, FRA-LYS.

Let's go to the Terminal 1, concourse A.

After European/Schengen zone formalities, we can enter in the concourse. Frankfurt airport is composed by many concourses, which are very long. It took more than 25min to go from the formalities to our gate.

We finally arrive at our gate (A40). Our plane is already parked. There is a plane to Paris CDG beside.

The pitch. Tighter than in the A340-300 from NGO, but good for a flight of this duration.



Pushback with 15min of delay. It's 5:15PM.

Catering is served. One sandwich and two drinks. As usual, LH services is good for short European flights.

From my window, we can see Alps. Unfortunately, the view is'nt good on the pics. Snowy summits get mixed with clouds (like Mont Blanc).
We also see Leman Lake and the city of Geneve.

After we cross the department of the Savoie, direction Lyon. I glimpse Grenoble, under a layer of pollution.

A TGV (high speed trains) from Grenoble (train station) to Paris (train station) via Lyon Airport (train station).



A rocked landing as usual in Lyon due to the proximity of the Alps (like in Denver Airport).

Flight had to last 1h15 on the ticket, the pilote announced 55minutes in Frankfurt, and we finally take only 40minutes. We were very low in the sky.

We go to our gate, beside a Brussels Airlines plane.



Deboarding, and go to the controls. These were hard despite the fact that we came from the Schengen area.
I don't have pics of Terminal 2 of Lyon St-Exupery, but i can say that we quickly recovered our baggages.
