Charles de Gaulle Airport
After driving on the bus from Orly for about an hour I arrived at Charles de Gaulle Airport. After entering I immediately proceeded to the check-in area 5-6. Charles de Gaulle has a self-service check-in were you have to print your boarding pass and baggage label at a machine before continuing to the baggage drop-off, were you have to scan the boarding pass and baggage label, again by yourself. There was a long queue before the counters, which nevertheless moved on rather quickly. The whole process took me about 30 minutes.
Directly after check-in I went to security, which I passed in a few minutes.
Going to gate F29.
As the aircraft for today's flight had not even arrived yet I decided to walk around the terminal.
Spotting some aircraft.
My flight on the FIDS. (Badly visible due to reflection)
The Flight:
Aircraft: A321-200 Age: about 9 years Registration: F-GTAS Airline: Air France Flight Number: AF1738 Seat: 25F Load: about 95%
At 12:10, boarding began, 15 minutes behind schedule.
Boarding first through jetbridge,…
Then by foot on the tarmac.
This might be the reason for the delay…
Our aircraft.
Walking to my seat.
Seat 25F. Again in an emergency exit row.
The downside of this seat is that it has no reachable window and faces a crew seat. However, the legroom is huge.
The seat also featured recline and a USB A port capable of charging a phone or tablet.
Shortly afterwards, boarding was completed and we were pushed back. A manual safety demonstration followed. Then, a cabin crew member sat down. She was really nice and talked to all the passengers.
At 12:50, we took off 25 minutes behind schedule. Shortly afterwards the seatbelt-sign was turned off. (View from window behind)
Seat-pocket content.
At 13:10, meal service began. A selection of beverages and a choice of two sandwiches (ham or cheese) was offered. I took a cup of water and the cheese sandwich. It was very tasty and much more then the cookies on my previous flights.
After meal service I visited one of the rear lavatorys.
At 13:50 we started our descend to Vienna.
We landed at 14:15, exactly as scheduled.
Taxiing to the gate.
Disembarking.
Vienna Airport
Walking towards luggage claim.
My luggage arrived at gate 01. After claiming it I left the airport by car.
This was the last report in my first series. Do not hesitate to leave a comment. Thank you for reading!

Conclusion
Paris (CDG): Clean, but does not have enough seating and I waited rather long for check-in. Air France: Cabin: Comfortable, legroom of course great. Cabin Crew: Friendly and talked to passengers. Entertainment: No TV but interesting magazine. Meal/Catering: Good and totally enough for this flight. Vienna Airport: Short walkway, a lot of stores.

After a numerous number of flights with OS, it is interesting to compare with AF which has code-shares with OS.
