After 4 days enjoying the beach in Formentera it was time to go back home again. Today we're flying from Ibiza to Barcelona on Vueling A321. As we were coming from Formentera we arrived at the airport some good 2 hours before our flight, quite early today, so we bought something for it and afterwards we went to one of the few bars in the terminal.

There's the BA flying back to London

And the Vueling previous flight to Barcelona

We were waiting quite long until our plane arrived. It was coming with 35 minutes of delay. The plane just parked but queque was long. Full flight today too.

Boarding stardted at about 18:30. Unluckly today the sun was disturbing a little bit.

We stayed inside the plane about an hour before we could start moving. The reason, again: Barcelona traffic. Our flight was waiting for the slot but it took quite long today. The captain advised us in english, spanish and catalan. He was quite polite with us and he excused.
By the time the sun was starting to set and Ryanair started it's flight to Eindhoven.

Finally we started our pushback and engines started. Transavia's TCP's were making selfies while we were setting flaps for take off.

We took off after an hour and a few minutes of delay. The good part were the views, which were really nice. Bye bye Ibiza!

Cabin view and legroom pics during the flight.

Seat belt sigh was not turned off even the flight was very uneventful. Again, no service on board due to the duration of the flight. From the window sun was setting and we had very good views from the province of Castelló, in the north of Valencia. And also we could see Delta de l'Ebre, in the south of Catalonia. Views were crazy.

Soon enough we started our descent and final approach in Barcelona. Weather wasn't so good there…

Touchdown after a short 32 minutes flight (one of the shortests in my life) and taxi to our gate. It was fully dark outside.

Disembark took quite long today. As we weren't wearing any checked bag we went to the metro station at the airport and went directly home.
Thanks for reading!
Thanks for this scenic FR.
I didn't know BCN had traffic issues.
Thank you. Yes, they have some big troubles, specially during summer (july and august, when it can be really busy during some hours). Looks like september is still quite problematic and Vueling is the most affected airline, by long.
