Hello guys, I would like to show you my recent flight on EVA Air's 787 dreamliner flight from Vancouver to Taipei. Before we begin, let me show you little cuties I spotted at YVR.

Jet Blue's A320 to New York. This flight was supposed to leave at 23:30 the previous date, but it was delayed until 16:50 and it brought long lines in front of A&W.

Lufthansa's A350 to Munich.

China Southern's 787 resting out there. Dreamliners are amazing. Their wings are beautiful.

United's A320

United's 737-800

Iceland Air's 757 from Reykjavik.

KLM's B772 to Amsterdam.

YVR recently updated its international terminal (D gates). They created an outdoor atrium where you can get some fresh air. However it was closed, so I couldn't get into there. I was craving for fresh air so much during this 9-hour lay over.

My plane has arrived. This flight is operated by 787-9 (B-17802). It's my second time riding on it.

I was my first time being so close with an A380!!!! I was so amazed by its wide, lengthy body and the rounded nose. Staring at her was my way to kill 2 hours at this airport.
BR9 INflight

I got a huge screen and a pillow.

Crew gave the thumb-up. Off to go!

First inflight meal, pork noodles with lemon cake, shrimp salad and fruits. Very tasty meal although the portion was a bit small.

Second meal: pork sausages with eggs and potatoes. Fresh fruits and yogurt are provided as well.
Thanks for sharing another nice report! EVA Air offer a solid product in general and deserve their good reputation for the most part. A shame about the IFE content--I assume this is a Covid-related measure to save on costs as this is an easy way for carriers to save a good amount of money quickly. Some carriers completely shut off their IFE during much of the pandemic for this reason. Definitely not ideal on a 12-hour flight!
Thanks for sharing!
