Hello guys. Welcome to my 1st EVER TRIP REPORT on "flight-report.com". In 5 July 2024, me, my mother, my girlfriend and my 8 years old younger-sister are flying with Emirates from Brussels to Dubai onboard their Boeing 777-300ER aircraft before continue our journey to my hometown - Hong Kong with their Airbus A380 on flight EK384 (Via Bangkok).
Part 1 : Flight Review
Since the airport was very crowded due to the summer holiday season, so we go to the Brussels Airport earlier at 6am in the morning by train and arrived at 8:00 in the morning. After when we arrived at the airport, the check-in counter are not ready to open and I was also an bus enthousiast, so we go to the Bus Terminus for taking some photos of the buses.
At about 11am, the check-in counter of our flight to DXB was opened for check-in.
After check-in, we getting to passing through the security check and Immigrations. When we are passing at Immigrations, I was surprised by an friendly Belgian Immigration officer and he said 你好 (Means "Hello" in Chinese) ! (It was surprised that some belgian can speak Chinese at Belgium)
Later we are approching the Gate B31 and B33. Our aircraft to DXB that day was A6-EQO, the "2nd to last" Boeing 777-300ER delivered to Emirates in September 2018 by The Boeing Company (A6-EQP was the youngest and LAST Boeing 777-300ER in Emirates fleet)

Our flight was started boarding by row. Since I had silver card of EK Skyward, so I was greeted by an UK crew and he said : "Welcome Onboard, Sir (Me). After find our seat, an friendly Irish crew came to my seat and I gave my flight log to her because I was an aviation enthousiast then gave a toy for my younger-sister (Because this is her 1st flight onboard Emirates). After that, they started to play the safety video before takeoff (One of the crew tolds me that was released 4 days ago on 1 July). Our aircraft was used the Runway 25R for takeoff.
"V1, Rotate." Goodbye, Belgium ! (The full takeoff video has uploaded to my YouTube Channel)
Since Brussels was infected by heavy rain, so there's unable to see the view outside the aircraft ! 🙄
After takeoff, I was took a photo of the cabin. Since our flight has 23 kids onboard (Including my younger-sister), so first the crew served the Children Meal. Later the Lunch and drinks were served for other passengers. Here's have 2 options for chicken and beef. Me, my mother and my girlfriend were chose the chicken choice and it was delicious. After the meal service, the crew gave me back the flight log.
In 1h30m before our arrival at DXB, they served the snack (Unfortunately my mother, my younger-sister and my girlfriend were slepted during the snack service😴🙄 !!!)
We landed in DXB at 11:38pm and approched at Gate B20 for arrival. After that, we are go to the transfer desk for our connecting flight to Hong Kong at Gate C23. That's all my review onboard EK184 from Brussels to Dubai and see you in the next one.

Hello, and welcome to FlightReport!
Very nice and detailed first review! Looks like a very solid flight with Emirates!
Nice first review! Though I’m personally not a fan of 777 Economy cabins in 3-4-3 configuration, there’s not really many airlines left that still have 3-3-3 seating so there’s not many options there’s. Emirates seem to excel with service in every other aspect like legroom, food, and IFE so it helps to make up for the narrow seats.
Thanks for sharing and welcome!
