Review of Emirates flight from Dubai to Brussels in Economy

Part 1 : Introduction

Hello guys and welcome to my 4th review on "flight-report.com". During the summer holiday, my girlfriend's mother was injured on the traffic accident ! So we decided to rush back to Belgium to visit her by Emirates via Dubai.

Part 2 : Before the flight

After our flight EK381 from Hong Kong and passing through the security check, we walked to the Gate C15 for the Boarding Gate of our flight EK183 to Brussels at 5:10am. Here's one of the restaurant at DXB Terminal 3

Here's an other Emirates Airbus A380-800 operated on flight EK380 to Hong Kong and will depart at 10:05am.

Since the aircraft of our flight was parked at remote stand, so we need to take the shuttle bus before boarding the aircraft and there's a lot of passengers to wait at the Gate C15. Then I read my books about the buses of Hong Kong

It's time to boarding starts from 7:20am.

So excited to ride the apron bus at DXB for 1st TIME ! But the A/C inside the apron bus is extremely very cold and the temperature is 18° !!! 🥶

Part 3 : EK183 DXB > BRU

Our aircraft to Brussels that day on flight EK183 was A6-EQL, an Boeing 777-300ER delivered to Emirates in June 2018 by The Boeing Company. (After its return flight EK184 from Brussels on the same day, the aircraft will grounded for 1 month due to cabin refurbishment including installation with BRAND NEW "1-2-1" configuration BUSINESS CLASS and "2-4-2" configuration PREMINUM ECONIMY CLASS SEATS !)

Configuration : F6C42Y306 (Until September 2024 and reconfigured into F5C38W24Y256 after cabin refurbishment finished on October 2024)

Arrival : 1320 (Actual : 1340)

Part 3A : A trouble after boarding

Just after the safety video, an 50 years old crazy Australian male passenger seated after to me (27A) just kicked its foot to my seat. This makes I was feeling very CROSS and started to argue with him !!! 🙄
Conversation -
Me : CAN YOU JUST STOP KICKING MY SEAT PLEASE ?
🇦🇺🧔: I wanted to make comfortable of my ****ing FOOT !
At this time, a flight attendant👱‍♀️ came up to me and asked me what happened.
FA👱‍♀️ : What's happen, sir?
Me👦 : This guy just CAN'T STOP to kick my seat by his foot !
🇦🇺🧔: SHUT YOU ****ING MOUTH UP !
Me and my girlfriend : LET US ALONE and DAMN YOU !!! (The Australian guy yelled at my girlfriend and she cried)
Me (To the Australian Guy) : ENOUGH !
Me talked to all flight attendants : CALL THE COPS !!!
Because the cops came to the aircraft for mediate the trouble and take away the 50 years old crazy Australian male passenger, our flight was delayed for 52 minutes until 9:12 in the morning.

Part 3B : Continue of our flight

50 minutes after takeoff from DXB, the Continental Breakfast was served as the 1st Meal Service. We got the cheese fried egg sandwiches served with fruit, yoghurt, a apple muffin cake and a cup of apple juice. After the breakfast service ended, other passengers came to comfort me and my girlfriend. Then, a cabin senior purser came with me to complete the flightlog with another crews.

After I returned to my seat 26A, I watched Frozen 2 because I also loved the film😜.

When our aircraft flying over Skopje - capital of North Macedonia, the crew take the cart out of the galley and started to serve the lunch 10mins later. There's 2 choice for lunch : Fusili Pasta with Chicken Meatballs or Mashed potatoes with Beef served also with a bread roll, a potato salad with vegetables, an "Dulce de Leche" Lemon Cake and a cup of coke. They also served with Hot tea or coffee after meal service.

Part 3C : Landing

Before our arrival at Brussels, the captain make a annoncement in English and Dutch.
Annoncement -
English : "Good Afternoon from flight deck, Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls. Since the wind direction changed at Brusselss Airport, so we will change an other Runway for arrival. Thank you for flying Emirates, we looking for see you again soon"
Dutch : "Goedemiddag vanaf Flight Deck, Dames en Heren, Jongens en Meisjes. Aangezien de windrichting op Brussels Airport is veranderd, zullen we een andere landingsbaan voor aankomst wijzigen. Bedankt dat u met Emirates hebt gevlogen, we hopen u snel weer te zien."

First, we flew over the center of Brussels. Then circled near Waterloo and landed from south to north. Finally we landed on Runway 01 in Brussels Airport at 1:40pm.

Part 4 : After Flight

While waiting to pick-up our check-bag, I suddenly received a call from the hospital. The doctor said that my girlfriend's mother had passed away of her serious injuries. So after hearing the bad news, my girlfriend burst into tears in the airport ! So I asked my friend who came to pick us up at the airport to take me and my girlfriend DIRECTLY to the hospital, and then I went to see my girlfriend's mother for the last time😭😭😭 !
I know this is very difficult for my girlfriend after her mother had passed away, but I will always support her (my girlfriend) as her boyfriend !!!
