Avis du vol Aeroflot Moscow → Paris en classe Economique

Hello everyone and welcome to this FR on AEROFLOT, which was part of my return trip from Japan to Paris, which I am reporting on in French (outbound) and English (inbound).

Last segment of this trip. I got pretty tired by that time, so pardon me for this slightly shorter FR.

After arriving from Tokyo in SVO, I headed to the Jazz Lounge. I had already taken picture on the outbound and I just came in for 5 minutes to have a warming herbal tea. I did not have much time in general, I had only 90 minutes transit in total rather than 3h because of the dealy from Tokyo (1h) and a rather long security check.



Boarding was by bus from Gate 28 (terminal D) which is downstairs. The boarding screen showed that the Paris flight was boarding, but the screen at Gate 28 said "Madrid", yet the lady was shouting Paris, in a rather harsh manner, so everybody understood where to go. All pax fitted into one bus, which was a sign the plane would not be full at all.

It wasn't.


The press trolley which is usually handed out in biz only, was also presented to economy pax as there was only person in biz… Interestingly I got the Financial Times in this photocopied format on A3 paper. I wonder whether this complies with copyright laws?


Push back and swift take off from Moscow SVO. We were announced 3h20 flight time, which meant we would be in Paris in advance as we departed slightly early. Not bad.


Menu - I was told to look at lunch, although it's dinner time :P


I went for beef. It was decent.


As you can see I had the whole row for myself. Rather nice to sleep after long haul.


Descent into CDG. Those who spot the Eiffel Tower get a bonus point. I don't know what for though ;)


Smooth landing but sharp breaking to let through this plane taking off before taxiing towards terminal 2C

Customs were very quick as no other flight arrived at the same time. Bags came after 15 minutes and mine was first :-)

Quickly I was back on a delayed RER into Paris and started missing Japanese trains…
