We arrived in ATL in between two waves, thus the airport being quiet at that time.
Here's a look of the routing:

The FIDS:

My brother will fly back to France from Concourse F and my flight to YUL is at E. As we have still two hours to kill, I decided to spend that time with him at F instead of staying alone at the E. And I've never been to that lounge :)
We took the train:

Back to the terminal:

We didn't go to the F concourse but stopped at the E as there is one of the biggest customer service center and my brother needs his boarding passes to France. Also the walkway to the next concourse offers nice spotting opportunities.

It wasn't an issue to get his boarding passes, and while he did so and also went for a cigarette, I passed the time in spotting a bit:

I always loved the MD11:

Once my brother was back from his duties we went to the Sky Lounge.

We took two seats close to the showers at the far end of the lounge:

The very nice terrasse:

A that time Delta still had a fleet of 10 737-700, all gone now:

There is also a small upper level:

Even if this is not what I would call a great meal, it was ok and did its job.

The time flew and it was already time for me to leave my brother that decided to come with me to my plane and then head back to the lounge. It was a bit sad and a strange feeling for me to leave him here going back home after our vacations and to head for more vacation for me. But I also knew he was flying business back on Air France and that he was missing his wife and kids. So not too much regrets :)
On our way, this lovely 767-400 Delta:

Once at my gate, my brother wishes me a safe flight and goes back to the F concourse, he is the one with the red shirt:

Boarding started on time and I was almost first to go:

The welcome at the door was ice cold. Sad. Here's the cabin:

No it's not night, but all window blinds have been closed:
